A private company focused on the exploration, development, production and sale of crude oil and natural gas intends to develop the Midia Gas Development Project to produce and process gas from the Ana and Doina discoveries and route it to export to consumers within Romania and/or the EU. The project components are construction of an onshore pipeline, offshore pipeline and a gas treatment plant located in the administrative area of Corbu Commune, Constanţa County. The company intends to apply for an EBRD loan for the development of the project.
Green Partners was contracted to carry out the Socio-economic baseline study, part of the Social Impact Assessment, and the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) for the ESIA package required by EBRD. Both documents were prepared in line with the EBRD requirements.
We have also been contracted to develop a PLANC (Permits, Licenses, Authorizations, Notifications and Consents) Registry to be used by the client as a tool in obtaining all needed documents for project development.
