Economic Aspects of Informal Sector Activities in Solid Waste Management

This was an international research project, carried out in six cities, Lima (Peru), Pune (India), Cairo (Egypt), Lusaka (Zambia), Quezon City (Philippines, Manila metropolitan area) and Cluj-Napoca, (Romania). The aim of the project was to identify the most economically efficient and sustainable ways to deal with the informal sector in the waste management in the context of the on-going modernization. Green Partners was the local partner for the city of Cluj.
