Environmental and social due diligence Romania for Municipality of Medias applying for EBRD loan for road and water infrastructure

Environmental and social due diligence at Medias Municipality on EBRD’s behalf. The purpose of this assignment was to carry out ESDD work for compliance with EBRD’s Performance Requirements under the 2008 E&S Policy for the proposed investment in rehabilitation of roads in Medias and Ighisu Nou. Tasks: review the existing relevant studies relating to the project, review investment plans, review the construction and rehabilitation activities completed to date, identify the main environmental and social issues associated, propose an Environmental and Social Action Plan. The tasks have been conducted with a special focus on the environmental assessment. The work was carried out in partnership with ERM.
