Project assessment and creation of a replicable project model, IFC Recycling Linkages

IFC Recycling Linkages program was implemented in South East Europe during the course of three years, working with recycling businesses of all sizes along the supply chain, from individual collectors to large processing mills as well as government agencies and NGOs. The goal of the assessment was to capture the development impact of the project in terms of benefits to the recycling businesses, growth in investment, Millennium Development Goals and GHG emission reduction. Based on the project experience a project model was built by the project team with the purpose of implementing similar interventions elsewhere in the world.
