Assessment for Re-accreditation under CDM and Regular On-site Surveillance Hamburg, Germany

Carrying out assessment for the re-accreditation of SGS and Germanischer Lloyd as CDM Designated Operational Entity in Germany. The work includes a comprehensive assessment for conformity of the designated entity with all accreditation requirements of the UNFCCC. The on site surveillance includes checking administrative requirements, procedures for team selection and validation and verification work and checking a sample of the project work. Interviews with the experts carrying out the validation verification work were also held. At the end of the assessment a recommendation is drawn regarding the re-accreditation of the assessed entity and submitted to the accreditation panel.
